Our story on the mountain began in 2010. We were traveling back home from a vacation in White Sand’s and decided to pass through Cloudcroft. That is when I fell in love with the area. We spent many vacations renting different cabins in the area which led us to the dream of owning our own place.

This dream became a reality in 2022, when we purchased what is now known as Quarterstaff Lodge. We are nestled away in a quiet neighborhood with great views and abundant wildlife. That is what makes our place so special in our hearts. Now, we may be biased, but the relaxation of watching nature at your front door is amazing.

This experience is what led us to share our “peace” of the mountain. We love what our place has to offer and feel that you and your family will cherish it as much as we do. Here’s to making memories.
